I don\u2019t know how much you know about photography, but you don\u2019t have to be into it long before you figure out that there is the OK stuff, the good stuff and the stuff you want but can only justify in conjunction with some random gambling windfall.  Canon and Nikon pretty much own the serious \"canonmug\"<\/a>photography market.  These companies might have as many as 3 or 4 of the same<\/em> lens.  They are not really the same (you really can tell the difference) but magnification specs are the same like 70×200.  The cheap one of these may cost $150 the serious one is more like $2700. <\/p>\n

Canons top lenses carry the \u201cL\u201d designation as in EF70-200mm f\/4L<\/font>.  Canon doesn\u2019t want the guy who just shelled out close to 3 grand to be confused with the guy who just traded his old 10-speed for a lens so the \u201cL\u201d lenses are white.  Even the uninitiated can spot them instantly.  They look like a fashion fopas to the point and shoot crowd, but the point is made to anyone who even thought<\/em> about going lens shopping.<\/font><\/p>\n

So imagine how cool and rich you must be if you can drink your coffee from one of these bad boys.  No, it\u2019s not a real lens and never was BUT once again the point was made.  They gave these out at the Canon booth at the Olympics this year.  Roomer has it that the top costs extra.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
