You look up and you realized you have wasted a couple of hours looking at pictures of potatoes shaped like William Shattner. What? Don&#8217;t tell me you haven&#8217;t. Well I have been sucked into <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thechristys.net\/uploaded_images\/left-4-dead-763772.jpg\"><img style=\"float: right; margin: 0px 0px 10px 10px; width: 157px; cursor: hand; height: 200px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thechristys.net\/uploaded_images\/left-4-dead-763756.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>a game that just rips your time away from you, throughs it off a building, grabs you by the neck and growls &#8220;who needs sleep anyway&#8221; Your only response? &#8220;Please sir, may I have another&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I am speaking of the Game of the Year &#8211; Left 4 Dead. Katie got it for me for Christmas. This title is from Valve, creator of what may be the best computer game of all time &#8211; HalfLife. The difference between these digital gems and games that are &#8220;good&#8221; or &#8220;fun&#8221; is hard to pin down. Suffice it to say, when you get all the pieces just right, the final product is more than the sum of it&#8217;s parts.<\/p>\n<p>I am hoping to grow out of this whole gaming thing some day, until then; I&#8217;ll keep looking for that next health pack and staying up way too late.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OK, we have all melted away a few hours sitting at our computer doing something like this.
