<\/a><\/p>\nWe had one.\u00a0 Our oldest daughter Sarah, got married.\u00a0 She married her college sweetheart, Greg.\u00a0 I am happy\/relieved to say we are 100% in favor of the union.\u00a0 You would think most parents would have reservations of one kind or another about their future in-law or at the very least about the combination of their child with their chosen spouse.\u00a0 Not us.<\/p>\n
The wedding was a party.\u00a0 There were 100+ friends and family in attendance.\u00a0 We had it at a bar downtown.\u00a0 It was a very cool place they had over 300 Tiffany lamps and old furniture, couches, tables and chairs.\u00a0 It was just the right size for the party.\u00a0 The food was from Los Cucos (our favorite Mexican restaurant), there was an open bar and a DJ.\u00a0 Most importantly, everyone had fun including the bride and groom which isn\u2019t always the case at a wedding.\u00a0 Even people who thought having a wedding at a bar might be a little sketchy quickly changed their tune when things got underway.\u00a0 We had several people tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to.\u00a0 Sarah and Greg did it all themselves and they did a great job.\u00a0 Linda of course helped but she was strictly following orders not giving them.<\/p>\n
The happy couple will be honeymooning in the Florida Keys.\u00a0 It will be their first real vacation together.<\/p>\n
OK , perfect spouse \u2013 check, fabulous wedding \u2013 check, dreamy honeymoon \u2013 check.\u00a0 What\u2019s left? . . . .\u00a0 Building a life.\u00a0 They have a good start, best of luck.<\/p>\n
