Several years ago, I posted about a new “service” called Twitter. At the time, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. In my never-ending study of technology and snarky opinions, I have come to this conclusion: It is something to make boring people feel closer to people who are “special” and for people who want to be thought of as “special” I get it. I can’t say I am bought in, but I get it. Unfortunately even the most ardent admirer must admit most tweets are not worth the paper they are not written on. So, in case you haven’t been reading the world in 140 characters or less for the past couple of years, I have culled down (almost) all of the tweets worth reading to save you time and increase you cool factor.
#random Did you know that @ChuckNorris eats at Chickfila on Sundays? #toocool
But “tweets” do have their place, as they allow news of all sorts to be quickly read. Twitter does have a lot of junk on it though. #Agreed.
